St. Philomena

PATRONAGE: babies, children, children of Mary, desperate causes, forgotten causes, impossible causes, infants, infertility, lost causes, Living Rosary, newborns, poor people, priests, sick people, sickness, sterility, toddlers, young people, youth.

Sometimes in life we come across special people online that Our Lord and Blessed Mother makes it possible to meet and be a part of something so special in your life.

This is the case of Mrs. Lidia from Mexico.  She first contacted me because she loved my jewelry and wanted several pieces made and she also commented on my experiences I have shared in my blog as well as in my store and was very touched by them and she also shared some of her experiences and they brought me tears to read some of her beautiful experiences, including tears from an image of Our Blessed Mother, glitter after praying the rosary in her home and many other beautiful experiences with roses.  She also informed me that she is in possession of a First Class Relic of St. Philomena which is a piece of her hair and she is the coordinator for Misión Por el Amor de Dios en Todo el Mundo  Translation "For the Love of God Worldwide" with Founder John Rick Miller, this is their Facebook page For The Love of God Worldwide and she has many accounts of miracles attributed to St. Philomena.  This mission is to spread God's Love and she alsotravels all over the world spreading the devotion to St. Philomena and I have been so blessed to have received a piece of red fabric touched to the First Class Relic of St. Philomena, making it a third class relic.  She wants me to use a large part of this fabric to touch my jewelry and continue with the devotion to St. Philomena and use pieces for others that would like a piece.  She also sent me several medals of St. Philomena that I will be using in my bracelets

I feel so honored that I cannot describe or express with words how Blessed I feel and this great mission to continue with the devotion to St. Philomena.  I've had some experiences when I'm working with a St. Philomena relic on one of my bracelets, but now I feel so much closer and the love stronger.

I thank you Lord and Blessed Mother for entrusting in me such privilege.

Catholic Virgin Mary OL Mr Carmel Catholic Locket Shrine Religious Pendant

I created another one of a kind embellished locket shrine honoring Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.  I truly love creating these embellished altered art lockets.  It takes a lot of time to gather the special pieces that will create each piece and more time to make sure every piece falls into place in harmony to finish one piece and all pieces coincide and appear so beautiful and it's worth the time and the effort for each one being so unique and special.

I have always been inspired how in Latin American Our Blessed Mother has been adorned with so many beautiful embellishments including lace, crystals and pearls and that was my inspiration for this piece.

I collected several pieces which are vintage including rhinestones and roses and I also added on the back a beautiful vintage sequin lace.

Catholic Virgin Mary Cameo, Saints Religious Medals Handcrafted Charm Bracelet

For a very long time I wanted to add a rhinestone or jewel crown to Our Blessed Mother in my cameos but could hardly find small enough to fit on the cameo until I found a stunning brooch that had small enough pieces to convert into crowns and I was so excited to be able to incorporate the crown to the image of Our Lady.

This bracelet turned out so unique with the color combinations.  I also found some stunning lampwork hearts with gold foil that were meant for this bracelet.

Catholic medals I used are Immaculate Heart of Mary, Christ, St. Juan Diego with Our Lady of Guadalupe, Blessed Sacrament, St. Benedict, Mother Theresa and Sacred Heart of Jesus.

In addition to the stunning hearts, I added beautiful cream color with black lampwork beads making this bracelet unique.

Catholic Relic Touched to the Holy Sudarium of Oviedo Reliquary Locket

Today I was inspired to create locket shrines including this very special locket reliquary.

It's a very special locket reliquary that includes a special relic touched to the Holy Sudarium of Oviedo.

Inside locket I added the special relic medal and included beautiful images from antique Holy cards one being from Our Lady of Sorrows and other of Sacred Heart of Jesus.  These images are transferred onto fabric giving it a look and feel of canvas.

Outside locket I added a beautiful picture of St. Therese adorned with pink Czech. rhinestones and suspended by one large glass pearl

St Benedict, Saints Religious Medals Charm Bracelet

PATRONAGE: Against evil, witchcraft; against poison; agricultural workers; carvers; civil engineers; copper smiths; dying people

THE JUBILEE MEDAL OF ST. BENEDICT

The power of St. Benedict is revealed in this small object that has been fostered by his spiritual sons many years. Marvelous is the aid which the St. Benedict Medal affords to its devout wearers in the manifold necessities of soul and body. On this account the Medal is well known and widely used throughout the Christian world; everywhere it is regarded as a highly favored object of devotion.

St. Benedict (born at Nursia, Italy, in 480) had a profound veneration for the holy Cross and for our Saviour Crucified. In virtue of the Sign of the Cross, he wrought many miracles and exercised great power over the spirits of darkness. In consequence of the great veneration in which St. Benedict was held from the early Middle Ages, it followed that a Medal was struck, one side of which represents St. Benedict holding the Cross in one hand and the Holy Rule in the other. Around the image of St. Benedict are these words in Latin "May his presence protect us in the hour of death." St. Benedict has ever been the patron of the dying, because of the circumstances attending his own most glorious death, for he breathed forth his soul while standing in prayer before the Most Blessed Sacrament.

The reverse of the Medal shows the image of the Cross. Around the margin are the initials of Latin words which form verses supposed to have originated with the holy Father Benedict himself. The English translation is: "Be gone Satan! Suggest not to me thy vain things. The cup thou profferest me is evil; drink thou thy poison." In the angles formed by the arms of the Cross are the letters C.S.P.B., signifying "Cross of the holy Father Benedict." The letters on the Cross itself have this meaning: "May the holy Cross be my light; let not the dragon be my guide."

Medals of Saint Benedict are sacramentals that may be blessed legitimately by any priest or deacon

I created this unique bracelet honoring St. Benedict using a St. Benedict large medal and also using several Italian Catholic medals which include Our Lady of Sorrows with St. Peregrine, Sacred Heart of Child Jesus,  Holy Child of Atocha, Archangel St. Gabriel, Our Lady of Victory with Don Bosco and others.

Beads I used are a very unique bumpy beads that I was taken away with it's uniqueness with green and blue over black.  I also used beautiful Jasper Gemstone beads and glass blue beads.

"Divine Love" Valentine's Day Sacred Heart Catholic Medals Religious Bracelet

Prayer to the Sacred Heart by Saint Francis De Sales

May Thy Heart dwell always in our hearts!
May Thy Blood ever flow in the veins of our souls!
O sun of our hearts, Thou givest life to all things by the rays of Thy goodness!
I will not go until Thy Heart has strengthened me, O Lord Jesus!
May the Heart of Jesus be the King of my heart!
Blessed be God. Amen.

I wanted to create a bracelet that expresses the Divine Love Our Lord has for us.  We normally celebrate Valentine's Day giving to love ones or people we love but sometimes we don't realize His Divine Love that should also be celebrated and with this bracelet I wanted to convey that Love.

I used a beautiful vintage cameo.  I used lampwork heart beads and teardrop shape beads representing His bleeding heart.  Other Catholic medals I used are St. Therese, Padre Pio, Blessed Sacrament, Our Lady of the Well and others., a one decade rosary using Olive Wood beads from Israel, very special beads.

May His Divine Love always well in your heart.
